Ever since moving to England, I've been obsessed with the idea of travel. I didn't realize until I got over here though how cheap and easy it would be to travel to so many different countries--Cue destination sessions! Senior sessions make perfect destination sessions. Why? First, I tend to pick a town and wander around for a few hours with my seniors anyway, so how cool is it to have the opportunity to explore a different city? Second- bragging rights, anyone? How many seniors can say they got their senior photos done in Paris? We met up Saturday night for some nighttime Louvre shooting. Although we were surrounded by about five other photographers with models in red dresses, Sam easily stood out and was flawless to work with, even after it started raining (and pouring again on Sunday morning at Trocadero!
We met up early the next morning before the tourists had finished their coffee and croissants to shoot. Luckily, that meant that we juuuust about beat the rain. When it started, there was no stopping it. Luckily for me, I had Aaron with me to use my giant reflector/diffuser over Sam. The funny part was that he may or may not have walked away looking like a wet puppy. I'm so thankful for him. He's always willing to do whatever it takes to help me get the shot!
