“Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.” —Theodore Roosevelt
So, long story short, my sole mission with this business is to build and maintain relationships with my clients while delivering long-standing, treasured photos. I'm in love with the photography process, but the essence of my photography comes from passion, chemistry, and revealing true moments. It's easy enough to take a pretty photo, but to freeze that cheeky laugh as baby snuggles mom, the touch of a little boy hugging his dad, siblings chasing after one another, or even snagging that quick glance between a bride and groom when they think nobody else is watching is what drives me. My goal is to make my clients cry (happy tears!) and to achieve that, I like to keep my style clean, whimsical, and slammed-packed with love, adoration, and rich colors.
I also absolutely love the clients that I meet that soon become friends. Some of my best friends and strongest bonds are credited to my camera. I've been in England since 2014 and am now starting my new journey in Boise, where I hope to continuing having the opportunity to watch families grow, whether I shoot their wedding and their first baby, or the pregnancy with their first baby through the birth of their second.
There’s something empowering about being able to do what you love versus doing what you should do, and although I’ve got so many more goals on the road ahead, I’m truly grateful to be doing this because I love and want to and not because I need to.
"I see my path, but I don't know where it leads. Not knowing where I'm going is what inspires me to travel it." - Rosalia de Castro
And about me? I've got Kansas roots, and a West Virginia heart with wings under my feet. For the past six years I've been addicted to booking flights to new countries, meeting new people, and experiencing the world. When I'm not collecting passport stamps, chasing sunsets, or doing something completely insane like swimming with killer whales, I'm spending time with the two loves of my life: my husband and my pup. Craft beer, cheap wine, black coffee, ANYTHING lemon, and chicken wings, thin-crust pizza, sushi are all pretty sure-fire ways to my heart (and yes, I do accept bribes;-). I'm simple: I love people that make my life whole and I love to laugh (and FOOD!).
My ultimate goal is to further this business internationally while hoping to plant some forever roots in Idaho, traveling across the globe for any and all types of sessions and weddings and travel photography. Regardless of where I go or where I end up, my happiness will always come with camera in hand, gorgeous families in front of me, and timeless moments stuck in my heart forever.
