Ada and David | A Boise Elopement | Carly Moon Images

Without a doubt, Idaho provides some absolutely stunning backdrops. My favorite part of photography is creating magical moments with my clients with these epic views in the distance, so when I meet clients that have big visions for their most special days, I'm SO in. My second favorite part are the connections made! Ada and I sat down for coffee as we got to know each other. We talked for ages and laughed over the many similarities we shared. I was thrilled when she booked me for their super intimate Easter day elopement in the foothills overlooking Boise!

Some of the things that really stood out to me during our meeting was how much she beamed when she talked about the relationship with David and her son, how supportive their families were, and how they were also expecting the best new love souvenir ever! Small, intimate ceremonies are my favorite ever. None of the stress and drama of having extra things that could go wrong and a concentrated focus on the people and places that are truly meaningful. Every single person there served a purpose and was overjoyed for these three (soon to be four) and it showed! We laughed and cried, goofed around, and celebrated love on that hillside while being serenaded by incredibly beautiful music.

After the ceremony, the guests headed back to set up for their celebratory dinner while the stars of the show and I played around in the golden light for some beautiful and fun portraits. We even had a little dance party on our way back up the hill!
